Turkey Day Observed
A few moments ago, I was discussing work issues with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
utopian_camorra at the front desk when a co-worker came by and told us, "At four o'clock all the people at service desks are going to do...what should we do at four o'clock? We should do something."
"Make hand turkeys," I suggested.
"Hand-turkeys?" UC asked.
"You know," I said, splaying my fingers.
"Oh, right!" he replied, spreading his own hand flat, "when you trace around your hand." He mimed this with the pen in his other hand.
A little while later, he toddled off to tell people at the other desks. He was uncertain about some of the fogeys and we discussed the point at which hand turkeys became a part of cultural literacy. When did you draw your first one? Whenever it was, draw another at 4 p.m.!
