你好嗎? 大家們都好嗎? 三位新神父都還忙嗎? 客人都離,又寧靜是不是?

天氣怎麼樣? 從太平洋的海島上帶來的<島國天氣>還在嗎? 這些天芝加哥不太濕熱. 很涼快,好像我又度假一次.

我遺憾沒看橄欖園.修道院園很美,你專心地照料,我希望下一次多看看. 要走邊各地方. 每天我都登上丘陵散步一下,但沒起那麼早能看到日出. 一定要看一看!

飲食都很好,中餐是最好的. 康儒最欣賞羅漢齋. 你們都非常好客!

Wow, this really is an interesting journal. First you force me to think about my own language, and now you're giving me a chance to brush up on my Chinese...

I haven't spoken Chinese for a while, and may have lost touch with the language somewhat, but I was wondering, is dajiamen for "everyone" proper Chinese these days? I never heard that in Taiwan. Don't dajia and dou imply enough of a plural that you can leave out the men? This is not meant as a criticism; I'm just genuinely curious.
