Ignoble, ignorable update
All I can think to report is that I got myself all wound up last night trying to find my Japanese chop and the only way I got to sleep again was by putting on my headphones and alternating between "She was a hotel detective" and "Quite unusual" over and over again while I played flower cards until I was all tuckered. As I fell asleep, I tried to think of nicknames for rock bands that weren't simply (1) their initials (e.g. OMD, CoC) or (2) the main noun without qualifiers (e.g. Mode, the Maniacs). All I came up with was "the Mats" for the Replacements, which is basically a variation on (2).
