Musical cues

List inspired by welcomerain. More as I think of them:

1. "Just like heaven" The Cure. There was a stapler in the department next to me at my old job that sounded so much like the initial snare drum splash that it was guaranteed to set off the openning chords in my head.
2. "Louie Louie" The three notes uttered by my PC upon start-up.

Hmm -- the little chime that Eudora makes always reminds me the Log song from Ren and Stimpy (it's Log, it's Log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood!) Not as cool, though.

I get these all the time! For some reason, though, the only one I can think of is "Log". :\

Tainted Love Machines

I've mentioned this before, but there are small street cleaning machines here in Chicago that look like riding mowers. They make a sound to alert pedestrians, which always sounds to me like the first few notes of "Tainted Love" by SoftCell.
