I don't think the other haschen (which means "grab at" or "catch", viz. die Redewendung nach Komplimenten haschen) exists in Badisch. IIRC, it's another Lutherism.

But haschen doesn't have to be transitive for at least some wordplay to take place, since at least du hascht would be ambiguous.
