Happiness is...
...one sandwich of lomo adobado in my belly--and two more in the fridge just waiting for my lunch break!
I tried to spread the joy around last night, but neither of the people I tried to invite over was available. Oh, well, more for me! Unfortunately, I also got another reminder of why I don't cook so often: I'd mopped the floor that very morning, but after I was finished frying up the pork loin and sweet onions, it looked like I hadn't done any cleaning for at least a week. Curses upon the GENIUS I bought the place from who chose bright white for the floor tile in both the kitchen and the bathroom. He was a serious pacer, so maybe he was ob/comp enough that he didn't mind scrubbing them daily. Or maybe pure white was a good price.
