Four things to that have nothing to do with Benny 16

  1. Last week, I followed a link to a video of some chubby Dutch guy lip-synching and dancing to O-Zone. Today, I wanted to find it again so I typed "fat dutch man" into Google. It was the number one hit.
  2. What is the name of the German company that produces high-end gay male soft por erotica? You know--coffee table books of scrupulously tastefull (FFFO) black-and-white photos of muscle-jobs naturalistically posing?
  3. We had an entertaining chat about creepy-crawlies at Chinese class last night. Our teacher couldn't quite explain to us what a 壁虎 (lit. "wall tiger") was. She insisted it wasn't a lizard, but it was something soft that climbs on walls and eats insects with its tongue. (Sounds like the beginning of joke, doesn't it?) It is, in fact, a house gecko.
  4. BTW, the beginner's class begins tomorrow night. Wednesdays, 6-8, $50 for eight weeks. Call the Chinese Mutual Aid Association if you're interested.

Coffee-table books? Taschen?

Every one of those except for the last one has something to do with DJ Benny16

Like Taschen, only with (conventionally) gorgeous naked men.

He's a chubby Dutch man interested in learning Chinese from a gecko during a nude photo shoot for German erotica?

[identity profile] pacotelic.livejournal.com 2005-04-19 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
No, he's not interested in learning chinese, just the eroticism of their men (and their geckos).

Got me on the porn thing — no idea. But I've been meaning to ask… I never did figure out what "the rose in the tree" referred to. Whatever it is, is it still there?

Um, but a house gecko *is* a lizard, although admittedly a soft one that climbs walls & eats insects with its tongue. Oh, and it barks!

We asked, "Is it a lizard?" and she said, "No, I know what a lizard is! This is soft."

Ah, the joys of intercultural communication!

Sadly, no. I haven't seen it in a couple weeks. It was an artificial flower that someone had "grafted" onto one of the branches of an ornamental pear near the stop'n'rob.

Ah, and here I was looking for it along the north side of Carmen, since I saw you walking along there once on your way to the el, and I figured it was the street route we had in common. No wonder.

Um...yeah, I mean the stop'n'rob on the northeast corner of Sheridan and Carmen. What one are you thinking of? The tree is question is on the north side of Carmen; IIRC, it was the third in from the corner.

Oh, I was thinking the one on the corner of Sheridan and Argyle, which you'd also pass on the way to the Argyle train station.

For the longest time, I thought that one was a liquor store. It always seems to have the skeeviest guys going in, coming out, and hanging around.
