monshu and I have taken a bold step forward into the world of captive animal co-nurturing. Names are still being batted about like birdies, but I can tell you that he is about two years old, silvery gray with white markings, and so incredibly sweet-tempered you'd think he was Dōgen reincarnated. We've done it; this house is now a home.
