Aamir Khan actually played a college student in Rang De Basanti in 2006, if you can believe it. (A line referring to him as a "perpetual" college student was included by an embarrassed script writer, but in context it was like he was supposed to be maybe 24 or 25 instead of 41).

I thought it was a little mean that they made the English woman pine away for him for the rest of her life, but otherwise it's a great movie.
