If there was enough water in the cabinet to need bailing, there's a good chance it's gotten through/past the cabinet-bottom and is likely to start growing nasties. I'd at least cut or drill a 1-2" hole in the cabinet bottom to evaluate the extent of the hidden damage, and if it's distinctly wet, go ahead and remove the cabinet bottom to get it drying out (but keep the pieces to show the carpenter, just in case).
